As part of our commitment to our CPEP participants and the communities
they serve, we will now offer ongoing learning opportunities through our
Learning Series. We will kick off this additional support service in January,
2005. The Learning Series will host various learning opportunities such
as workshops, support groups, field trips and special events, such as
self-care meditation sessions or special guest speakers.
Beginning in January we will provide a series of workshops in collaboration
with the Harm Reduction Coalition
(HRC) in Oakland, California. These workshops will be generated by participant
requests and cover a variety of topics, such as African American Harm
Reduction Strategies, to HIV/AIDS Update meetings. All of these workshops
will be held in San Francisco and will range from 4 to 8 hours in length.
Pre-registration for these workshops is required.
